Choose from seasonal programs or single-day lessons tailored to beginners, intermediates, and experts. Whether you're trying skiing or snowboarding for the first time, advancing your skills, or mastering the woods and steeps, we have the perfect group for you. 10 Week Seasonal Lesson Programs

Get ready for an exciting winter adventure! Black Mountain of Maine has seasonal lesson programs from skiing to snowboarding that are perfect for families looking to take their skills to the next level. With lessons available Saturday mornings and Saturday afternoons, as well as Sunday mornings and afternoons, you can pick what fits your schedule. Lessons run every weekend for 10 weeks with the exception of Feb 14th & 15th (school vacation week). Best of all, every participant gets a season pass included with registration! It’s the perfect way to make the most of your time on the mountain!
Kinder Club
For ages 5 and 6 (Ski only)
$550 Includes a season pass.
This 10 week Seasonal Group Lesson begins on January 3rd/4th. Lessons run every weekend for 10 weeks with the exception of Feb 14th & 15th (school vacation week). Lessons are 90 minutes long. There are 4 sessions to choose from:
Saturday mornings from 10:00-11:30, Saturday afternoons from 2:00-3:30, Sunday mornings from 10:00-11:30 OR Sunday afternoons from 2:00-3:30. (Please line up 15 minutes prior to the lesson start time). Groups for this age will be kept to no more than 5 children per group.
Snow Kids
For ages 7-14 (Ski and snowboard)
$550 Includes a season pass.

There are 2 sessions to choose from:
Saturday mornings from 10:00-11:30 OR Sunday mornings from 10:00-11:30. (Please line up 15 minutes prior to the lesson start time).
Groups for this age will be kept to no more than 7 children per group.

learn to ski and ride package
For those wanting to learn how to make their first turns. This package includes a lift ticket, rentals and a 1 hour lesson. Lessons are offered Thursday-Sunday at 10:00am, 12:00pm and 2:00pm. Participants meet at the Group Lesson Sign after checking in at the Snowsports School office (please check in at least 20 minutes prior to the lesson start time). $100 (one time only). All lessons are based on instructor availability. Please reach out to our office by phone or email to schedule a daily lesson.

1 hour group lesson
These group lessons are open to all abilities - ages 5 and up for skiing, 7 and up for snowboarding and 15 and up for adults. Whether you ski or ride, this is the perfect way to get introduced to the sport. Groups meet at 10:00am, 12:00pm or 2:00pm on Thursday-Sunday. Participants meet at the Group Lesson Sign after checking in at the Snowsports School office (please check in at least 15 minutes prior to the lesson start time). Tickets are not included. $65

2 hour group lesson
These group lessons are open to all abilities - ages 5 and up for skiing, 7 and up for snowboarding and 15 and up for adults. Groups meet at 10:00am, 12:00pm or 2:00pm Thursday-Sunday. Participants meet at the Group Lesson Sign after checking in at the Snowsports School office (please check in at least 15 minutes prior to the lesson start time). Tickets are not included. $80

1 hour, 2 hour & 3 hour private lessons
Private Lessons are offered on the hour 10:00am-3:00pm for those who are looking to escalate their skills in a one on one learning environment. Tickets are not included. $90/1hr $160/2hr $210/3hr. Additional student(s) may join for an additional $50 per student. (additional student must be similar skill level).
