Need To Ski

Black Mountain of Maine has developed many programs to ensure every youth is given an opportunity to experience the physical, mental, and social benefits that skiing, snowboarding, and tubing provide.

In addition to ski and snowboard lessons, race programs and giving free season passes to all Maine students in Kindergarten through second grade, Black Mountain developed the Need To Ski Program.

The aim of this program is to grant free season passes, free equipment rentals and free lessons to RSU#10 and RSU #56 students who would otherwise not have the opportunity. Students who are selected for this program must have filled out the application completely and shown a desire to learn or improve their skiing to an extent that would not be possible without this program.

By donating to this program you can positively influence the life of an underprivileged community youth by giving them the opportunity to stay active in the winter through a healthy, life-long sport.
