Last Skier Standing is back — and it’s shaping up to be one epic weekend at Black Mountain of Maine.

We’re thrilled to welcome back White Mountain Ski Company for the fourth year in a row as they host Last Skier Standing, presented by Norrona.

If you’re new to the madness, here’s how it works:
This is a grueling uphill endurance event where each participant must complete one lap every hour, on the hour — and be back in the starting area before the next lap begins. Miss the cutoff and you’re out. The race continues until only one skier remains and completes their final lap. Simple. Brutal. Legendary. You can get even more details here.

But the fun starts well before the race.

Kick off the weekend early with FREE Ski Night on Wednesday, February 4th, sponsored by Franklin Savings Bank, from 5pm–9pm. It’s FREE skiing, snowboarding and tubing! Ski and board rentals are just $35+tx and there’s no charge for tubes.

On Thursday and Friday, enjoy:
$30 lift tickets
$5 uphill tickets
FREE Nordic skiing and snowshoeing
All sponsored by L.L.Bean.

Last Skier Standing begins Friday morning at 10am.
Friday night, wind down with Open Mic Night hosted by Adam Breton from 5pm–7pm in the Last Run Pub. All ages, free admission.

On Saturday, keep the party going with live music from Seth Gallant, 2pm–5pm. And on Sunday, close out the weekend with The Acoustipalians, playing 1pm–4pm. Both shows are all ages and there’s no cover charge.

Come for the race. Stay for the deals, the music, and the atmosphere.
This is a weekend you won’t want to miss.
And while you’re here be sure to cheer on locals Josh Burke, Mark Bolduc and Natalie and Ryan Nicols. Fun tidbit: Mark is Natalie’s dad and Natalie and Ryan are husband and wife.
