Discover Our Glades
#600AcresOfBliss
Built it.
With a running total of over 6,000 volunteer hours, the 35+ members of the Angry Beavers have gnawed out some pretty radical territory since they began in 2010.
Prepare for Face Shots.
We’re talking 600 acres of skiable terrain. Explore the woods & our 50 trails & gladed zones. Yes, you read that correctly. There’s 1,000 vertical feet of hardwood glades waiting for you, all accessed by one lift. From the wide & spacious to tight knit trees with spectacular lines, Black Mountain of Maine’s glades offer varied terrain for all skill levels.
Be A Beaver.
The Angry Beavers of Black Mountain of Maine is a volunteer group dedicated to our intricate glade system. They’re just as pumped in the off season as they are during ski season. Visit their Facebook page to find out how you can help out.
"Here it is: the mountain we all say we want to ski: out of the way, unknown, funky, independent, cheap, rowdy, unforgiving, made for and by skiers"
— Stuart Winchester of the Storm Skiing Journal and Podcast
"If you, like me, prefer skiing glades or side-country, Black Mountain is among the most exciting areas in New England".
