Hey BMOM Family!

We've got some exciting updates to share as
we gear up for an amazing ski season ahead!

We have a $1.2 million dollar project in the works slated for kick off in the summer of 2025 with the intention to have everything in place for the 2025/26 ski season!

Thanks to TWO incredible grants, that will cover almost 90% of the project, we’re not just prepping for this winter—we’re also planning huge improvements for the future of the mountain!

We were awarded a NBRC Grant which will allow us to install a total of 14 new fixed snow guns on the St John and Allagash trails. Plus, we secured a CDS Grant which will enable us to double the size of our snowmaking pond and install brand-new snowmaking pumps with a state-of-the-art pump house. This means better snow and earlier opening on everyone’s favorites! These upgrades will make our snowmaking capabilities next level. We’re talking a longer season with more snow coverage!

Here’s where we are in the process:
We’ve wrapped up the required federal environmental review for the NBRC grant, signed on with Maine Land Development for the pond engineering, and started surveying. These are matching grants, and we’ve got $65,000 already committed out of the $150,000 needed.

Stay tuned for updates on how you can get involved—and get ready for a fantastic season on the slopes! ❄️⛷️
